Welcome to the
Central New York Chapter
of the
Irish American Cultural Institute!

In the Central New York community we are fortunate to have a chapter of the Irish American Cultural Institute. Established in 1985, CNY-IACI is affiliated with the national Irish American Cultural Institute, headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey.

A main purpose of the organization is to promote Irish and Irish-American culture, including music, dance, literature, history and language. Membership is open to anyone, regardless of his or her religious affiliation, ethnic or national origin.
Central New York's newsletter of local interest, a subscription to Éire-Ireland, the research and cultural publication of IACI, and Dúcas, a national newsletter, are included in an annual membership. The annual membership includes the member and family.
Irish Way Scholarships are given to high school students from the CNY area who qualify for the trip to Ireland in the summer by applying to the National office.
